The goal of this Sisterhood group is to:
• encourage empowerment to help us to bring about change in our lives
• reduce the incidence of uncertainty, set backs or despair in our lives
• increase our ability to rebuild, recover and realign our lives
I am a trained counselor/life coach with a Masters Degree in Counseling and over 30 years of training and experience as a lifetime member of the human race. Over the last 1 ½ years I have begun to get back into a profession that I loved years ago, and left to start my own family and pursue the field of music, my second career passion. Over the past year I have begun studying Psychosynthesis under the training of Naturopath Libby Parker at the Heaven and Earth Institute in Montreal, Quebec. I have found this training helpful in my personal and professional life. It is my hope, and aim to help facilitate positive change in your lives, as well as my own. ‘Together we can move mountains’ is the WWIAS motto!
WWIAS Sisterhood sessions have 5 empowerment components:
1. strengthening sense of self-worth;
2. encouraging our right to have and to determine choices;
3. clarifying our right to have access to opportunities and resources;
4. identifying our right to have the power to control our own lives, both within and outside the home;
5. supporting our ability to influence the direction of social change to create a more just social and economic order, nationally and internationally.
If you are a woman making a life transition from brokenness to wholeness; from chaos to commitment; from pain to purpose, then this gathering is for you.
Topics often covered in sisterhood sessions include:
___
The Mother Within Woman. Nurturer. Soother. Mother. Includes a discussion about nurturing yourself and others and exploring the mother within you. YOU DO NOT need to be a mother to be a part of this discussion.
___
Building Effective Communication Skills. Do you have difficulty expressing your feelings and frustrations to others? Do you find yourself exploding or holding in your anger? Includes discovery and discussion of different ways to assertively manage these feelings and to communicate more effectively.
___
Work Readiness. Need help or direction in finding a job? Want to learn more about computer and internet skills or how to create a resume? Includes discussion and discovery and support to increase your skills and your confidence in your ability to secure
employment. This session can include a Clothes Closet Exchange between members of this sisterhood group for
performance/interview outfits and/or outfits for work and image building.
In the space provided write a brief title and description of a session that you would like to have included during this WWIAS Camp.

WWIAS Dialogues are a way to say what's on our minds and to get some feedback on ways to move forward. Change your thinking and you change your life. Isn't it time for you to show up to who YOU were created to be?
WWIAS Dialogue sessions provide a chance to talk about some of the issues we don’t get to talk about in “polite society.” These dialogues are designed to touch on those issues that are buried deep within our hearts. They are meant to be guides for your deeper questioning and conversations. This is not therapy: you may not receive all the answers to your questions. The hope is that you leave with more questions to stir your hearts and souls. This is about opening your heart and giving you the self-care you need.
You are encouraged to bring a notebook or journal to each sisterhood session, to record insights and learnings and to record any assignments between sessions. No previous experience in psychosynthesis is necessary.

WWIAS Dialogues: What Are You Thinking?
What you think about, becomes your reality. So, what are you thinking about? Are you thinking about the drama that is your life? OR, are you thinking about your absolutely one, wild and precious life?
Are you thinking about fear, anger, guilt, and unforgiveness? Well, guess what keeps showing up in your life?
Do you want to continue to create drama and negativity? Or, do you want a loving and peace-filled life? It's your story, your life, you write the script. How are you directing the pen? Or, are you living someone else's script?

WWIAS Dialogues: Living in the Present Moment
"One day at a time - this is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past, for it is gone: and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering." ~ Ida Scott Taylor
When we are caught up in our emotions of fear, anger, worry and guilt, we are not living in the present moment. Our emotions are divinely-given to alert us to injustice and danger, not as a stumbling block to living our own lives.
Our dialogue focus is about how we can have better control over our emotions and live our best lives by living one moment at a time.

WWIAS Dialogues: Passion Partners
Do you have a passion partner? Do you have someone in your life who:
~ creates a safe space for you to share and discuss your dreams and desires?
~ allows you to be your authentic self?
~ holds you accountable on the intentions you have set for your life?
~ deeply and actively listens to you without interjecting their own agenda?
~ is deliciously nutritious?
If you do, fantastic! If you do not, then what are you waiting for? The year is moving by very quickly and I know you want this year to be different from your previous years. I can safely say that you want to eliminate those barriers from your life ~ and part of the barriers show up in the form of toxic people:
~ who believe it is their duty to tell you how to live your one, precious life
~ who are in your life to just suck the life out of you
~ who holds the bucket of ice water ready to dowse the fire of your desires
We will discuss having passion partners, recognizing toxic people, and how to attract nutritious people into your life.

WWIAS Dialogues: Loving and Saying YES to YOU!
Pretend it is St. Valentine's Day ~ a day of love and joy! Do you love and honor yourself? How?
Do you have difficulty saying NO to people? When was the last time you said YES to yourself? This is a day not just for couples but for everyone who loves, especially those who love themselves. If you don't love yourself, how do you expect someone else to love you? If you don't say YES to yourself, your passions, and yours dreams, then you are not loving the most important person in your story ~ YOU!
For those of you who have said YES to yourself, come, love and honor yourself for the afternoon. Re-ignite your passions and your dreams. Remember this is the time to recommit to your dreams. This is the time to remember YOU!

WWIAS Dialogues: Re-Define and Re-Design Your 2009
Regardless of what is going on in the world, start your annual calendar on this day. Start today as if it were a brand new year, and a brand new chance to begin again. You have the power to take control of your destiny. It does not matter what has happened in the past, you now have the opportunity to believe for a bright future. Leave the resolutions behind; this is your opportunity to fulfill your heart's desires! The session focus is on re-defining and re-designing our lives, through our words, our thoughts, our feelings, and our actions. Do you have dreams and desires? Are you ready to achieve them? Are you ready to manifest the abundant life you are called to have?
Don’t just dream but dream and act on them! The cemetery is full of dreamers and untapped potential; so wake up to who you really are. Living on purpose means living in the fullness of your divine power.

WWIAS Dialogues: Forgiveness: The Real *F* Word
“Forgive and forget.” “Forgive seventy times seven.”
These ideals can seem unrealistic. They are at times even inappropriate, like when we are numb from painful and hurtful situations. Often we are too overpowered by anger and hurt to even consider forgiving.
Forgiveness is not an emotion, it is a decision.
Forgiveness is a gift you give to yourself. It is not something you do FOR someone else. Forgiveness is an act of the imagination. It dares you to imagine a better future, one that is based on the blessed possibility that your hurt will not be the final word on the matter. It challenges you to give up your destructive thoughts about the situation and to believe in the possibility of a better future. Forgiveness has little or nothing to do with another person because forgiveness is an inside job.
Forgiveness is not forgetting. It is letting go of the hurt.
True forgiveness is not:
*Forgetting. If the hurt wounded you enough to require forgiveness, you may always have a memory of it.
*Excusing or condoning. The wrong should not be denied, minimized, or justified.
*Reconciling. You can forgive the offender and still choose not to reestablish the relationship.
*Weakness. You do not become a doormat or oblivious to cruelty.
The focus is to learn to take the journey to true forgiveness in your life and turn that trapped, negative energy into positive, healing energy to create a more peaceful and loving future.
“Never forget that to forgive yourself is to release trapped energy
that could be doing good work in the world.” – D. Patrick Miller

WWIAS Dialogues: Living The Four Agreements
The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz is one of the greatest books ever written. Why? Because the principles are so profound, yet so simple. To live a life of peace and purpose, just follow these four agreements:
* Be Impeccable With Your Word
* Don't Take Anything Personally
* Don't Make Assumptions
* Always Do Your Best
The principles are fresh and relevant.
Discussion will center on these simple truths and how to make and keep these agreements with ourselves.

A word about - Psychosynthesis Sessions!!
While not classified as such, Sisterhood sessions foster many of the beliefs and outcomes present in psychosynthesis, briefly described below.
Psychosynthesis
Psychosynthesis, developed by Italian psychiatrist Roberto Assagioli, blends Western philosophy and psychology with Eastern studies of human consciousness, such as the connection of the body, feelings, mind, and spirit, creating a dynamic school of human development. Dr. Assagioli's work teaches us how to live more fully by tapping into the higher realms of what it means to be human: inspiration, creativity, experiencing wisdom and joy, and learning how to bring these qualities into everyday life.
Psychosynthesis is based on simple but powerful techniques. Simple tasks can bring up resistance, which allows us to be more aware of when we go off track. The development of will is central to this process.
What to expect in a psychosynthesis session:
Psychosynthesis sessions are usually held on a weekly basis for a
duration of one and a quarter hours. The sessions initially include
dialogue, some relaxation techniques, and some self-awareness
exercises. For the client who wishes to deepen their experience, such techniques as imagery and visualization, movement, gestalt, dream work, centering, journaling, art work, and other forms of exploration/expression that the client currently uses in their life may also be applied. "I have had painters bring in their freshly painted canvases illustrating that week's insights." - L.P.Personal Development Counselor
